You may spend much of your time overthinking, worrying about doing or saying the “right” thing, and feeling responsible for keeping everything (and perhaps everyone) together. Even when you’re doing your best, it can feel like it’s never enough. Living with anxiety, chronic stress, and perfectionism can be exhausting. Guilt, shame, and self-doubt linger, leaving you drained and questioning yourself long after the day ends.

Many of the individuals I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, and emotionally exhausted on the inside. You may struggle with burnout, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries. For some, ADHD may also be part of the picture, contributing to challenges with focus, organization, emotional regulation, follow-through, or feeling “behind” despite significant effort. These experiences can intensify stress, shame, and self-criticism, especially when your needs or differences have gone unrecognized or unsupported.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist–Associate and Gottman-trained couples therapist, supervised by Latasha Teamer, MS, LPC-S, LMFT-S. I provide therapy for adults, teens, and couples who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of over-responsibility, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm, as well as those seeking support in understanding and managing ADHD in a compassionate and strengths-based way.

When working with couples, I use the Gottman Method to help partners better understand one another, express needs more clearly, and navigate disagreements in ways that feel respectful and productive. Therapy can support couples in reducing conflict, increasing emotional closeness, and creating a stronger foundation rooted in trust, understanding, and mutual support. My goal is to help couples feel more connected and equipped to face challenges together, rather than feeling stuck in cycles of misunderstanding or frustration.

In therapy with individuals, we will work together to understand the patterns driving your anxiety and stress, develop healthier coping strategies, and create space for self-compassion and growth. My approach integrates solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you manage anxiety, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotions, and set boundaries with greater confidence and clarity.

Therapy doesn’t require you to have everything figured out. It’s a space to slow down, feel supported, and begin making changes at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. You deserve relief from the constant pressure, and together we can work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and your life.
